Roundtable discussion will engage a panel of experts in the areas of aging individuals to answer questions and provide practical tips about helping our elderly loved ones navigate their later years with grace and confidence, from healthcare and financial decisions, to obtaining needed care and transitioning to different needs-based living environments.  A topic that is often approached with trepidation, this CLE shifts the conversation towards a positive prism for viewing the fourth stage of life, reframing the later stages as a pinnacle period of life, as a masterpiece.
This CLE is excellent for elder law attorneys, including estate planning attorneys who prepare powers of attorney, and all of us who will have to navigate these discussions with loved ones in our personal lives.

Fred H

"The program discussed a lot of important issues that one must deal with as one ages or as one's parent ages. They did not deal with what happens if one has to deal with a recalcitrant parent or spouse, one who refuses to follow the steps suggested or recommended. They also did not deal sufficiently with the financial issues involved and the finacial planning that should take place as one ages."

"Easy to follow. Concise. "

"Because Arizona does have the fastest growing pop. of elderly in the US and because healthcare decision-making should be discussed at all major life transitions as pointed out in this seminar I believe the bar should expand/organize the program content further. Consider community outreach! While it is uncomfortable it would be less so if brought out from the shadows. Very important stuff! The moderator did seem a little disorganized."
