Internet Connection: When watching content on mobile, we recommend that users have a bandwidth of at least 5 MB per minute for standard video quality, and 10-12 MB per minute for high definition.
• IMPORTANT - If you are planning to view any online course from a place of work, it is HIGHLY recommended that you first check with your IT department and/or Network Administrator to make sure that - #1. You are allowed access to install programs on your computer and #2. Are allowed access to view online streaming media.

Delivery TypesOnline Seminar/Webcast/Webinar Policies
Registration for CLE OnDemand (Online CLE), CLE Webcasts, webinars and self-study audio downloands grants only the registered attendee use of the program. User agrees that they will not share audio, video, log-in information, course materials, or online access without prior approval from the State Bar of Arizona.
To receive MCLE credit for OnDemand, CLE Webcasts or webinars, you must complete the entire program. No partial credit will be given.
Live Seminar Policies
Advanced registrations, with payment, must be made at least 48 hours prior to the program date. You may still register online or by telephone within 48 hours of the program, however, only late registration pricing will be available. Payment must be made in advance or at seminar check-in (except government registrations, see below). At-the-door registrations will be accepted if space and materials are available. Seminar dates, times and locations are subject to change. Please consult the website (www.azbar.org/CLE) or call 602.340.7231 or 520.623.9944 to verify seminar site and time.
Government registrations should be accompanied by a copy of the purchase order or warrant which begins the payment process. If registering by phone, the purchase order or warrant must be brought to the seminar.
By registering for this program, attendees grant permission to the State Bar to use photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of general participation in this event or related activities, for their legitimate purpose, and without remuneration.
Registration may be denied for any reason.
Registration Information
Who qualifies for the Student rate?A law student is someone currently enrolled in a juris doctorate (J.D.) law program, or graduated from, law school in the past 6 months and, is not admitted to practice law in any jurisdiction. Proof may be required.
A State Bar of Arizona attorney or a lawyer registered in another jurisdiction but attending law school, or any other school, does not qualify for the student rate.
Who qualifies for the New Attorney rate?Any attorney who was admitted to the practice of law in Arizona within two years of the date of admission can register as a new attorney.
Who qualifies for the Judge rate?Full time judges at courts of record who pay the judicial Bar fees rate. This does not include pro tem judges, administrative law judges and Justices of the Peace.
Who qualifies for the Retired rate?To qualify for the discounted retired rate, the attorney must either have been 70 and over as of December 31, 2008, or the attorney’s membership status is listed as “Retired” in the State Bar of Arizona records on the date of registration. For example, in 2019, the member will be 81 or over.

Since the Bar is not providing a printed copy of the materials, how will I receive my materials for the seminar?
You will receive an email 24-48 hours prior to the start of the seminar containing a link to the materials. The email will be sent to your email address associated with your membership record on file with the Bar.
I'm already paying to attend the seminar, so why do I need to pay for printed materials?
In continuing with the State Bar of Arizona's green initiative, the CLE department provides registrants their seminar materials in an electronic format.
If I want to purchase a printed copy of the seminar materials, how much will it cost?
Printed copy of the seminar materials are not available for many of the programs; however, for a few day long and multi-day seminars, there may be an option to purchase printed materials. Prices vary depending on the size the materials for the seminar. Review the program information as to whether printed materials are available for purchase for the course. Will there be WiFi available at the seminar? If so, will it be available in all seminar rooms, public areas, vendor area, etc.?
WiFi may be available at the seminar. WiFi is available at both Bar locations, as outlined below. WiFi may or may not be available at offsite venues such as hotels and resorts.
Phoenix and Tucson offices: seminar room and all public areas.
Will I be able to download and print my materials at the seminar?
We highly recommend that you print any necessary materials needed prior to attending the seminar. If you have a laptop/tablet, we recommend you download your materials to your hard drive before attending the seminar. The State Bar will not have printing services available.
I have a tablet. Will I be able to annotate the materials using this device?
Since the materials will be available as PDF documents, you may wish to download a PDF Reader application that will allow you to annotate your document. There are various apps available including, but not limited to, the following:

- Good Reader for iPad
- ezPDF Reader
- Notability
How long will seminar materials be available for me to download?
Electronic seminar materials will be available and is accessible in your CLE Tracking after the course. However, it is important that you download materials to a more permanent location for future use, if you wish to regularly review the content.
What if I do not pre-register for a seminar, but pay at the door? How will I receive my materials?
When you register at the door, a link for the materials will be sent to the email address on file with the Bar. Please bring a laptop, tablet or other electronic device with you that will allow you to electronically access the seminar materials during the seminar.
What if I do not receive the email containing the link to download the seminar materials?
Emails regarding seminar materials will come from "SBA CLE Materials" or cleinfo@staff.azbar.org. Please check your spam or junk mail folder for an email. If you have not received the materials 12 hours prior to the start of the seminar, please email cleinfo@staff.azbar.org.
Cancellations
How do I cancel my registration for a seminar?Online Seminar/Webcast/Webinar Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to registrations@staff.azbar.org (and in the subject line, include the word "Cancel").
Cancellations for webcasts must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the seminar. No refunds will be given for cancellations less than 48 hours prior to a webcast. You will be given a refund of the seminar fee paid, minus a $25 administrative fee. Vouchers cannot be issued. If you are unable to view the webcast on the day of the program, you will have one year to view the archived program. Transfers from a live seminar to the webcast may be made less than 48 hours prior to the program start time.
Live Seminar Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to registrations@staff.azbar.org (and in the subject line, include the word "Cancel"). Cancellations must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the seminar. You may choose to receive (1) a voucher in the amount of 100% of the seminar fee paid, good at most upcoming State Bar of Arizona CLE seminars; OR (2) a refund of the seminar fee paid, minus a $25 administrative fee. No refunds or vouchers will be given for cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the seminar.

I am having trouble with the audio.Cause(s):
This can be caused by a number of things... Your computer's speakers could be...
Incorrectly plugged in (in the wrong jack).
Not plugged into a power source.
The volume knob might be turned down.
The power button on your speakers could be turned off.
A mute setting could be selected.
A volume control bar could be turned down.
There could be a problem with the 'soundcard'.
A missing Codec.
Video Issues
My video playback is stuttering, buffering, or playing poorlyThere are a couple of main culprits that may cause streaming playback issues. We've found the following troubleshooting steps correct the vast majority of buffering or stuttering performance issues. Any option by itself may clear up the playback issues.
PLEASE NOTE that Internet Explorer is no longer a supported web browser. If you are attempting to view the video content using Internet Explorer, you will be required to switch to a current web browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or if you are on a Mac, Safari.
TEMPORARY VIDEO PLAYBACK ISSUE
If your video has stopped momentarily and this issue isn't occurring consistently, please try refreshing your entire viewer page by going to the Help tab in the viewer and clicking on the "Reload Viewer" text to refresh the page and reload the program.
If reloading the video doesn't seem to resolve the issue, here are some more suggestions:
CONSISTENT VIDEO PLAYBACK ISSUE
STEP #1: LOCK ONTO THE LEAST DEMANDING VIDEO STREAM
You may be having intermittent issues with your Internet connection. This solution will lock you into the lowest available video stream that may smooth out your video playback experience.
Hover your mouse over the video player.
Hover your mouse over the gear icon at the bottom right of your video player.
Select the lowest number listed to lock your video onto the least demanding video stream.
If video playback issues continue - move on to Step #2 below.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are on a Mac device and/or using Safari, the gear icon is not present. In order to lower the stream speed, you will need to switch to the Google Chrome browser.
STEP #2: SWITCH TO AN ALTERNATE INTERNET BROWSER
Your Internet cache in your browser may need to be cleaned/cleared out. If you are unsure about how to clear your browser cache, an alternate, easier and quicker option is to try switching to a different Internet browser to continue viewing the program. If you're on Microsoft Edge - try switching and viewing the program on the Google Chrome browser. Other popular browsers such as Opera and Firefox are compliant with program playback. Following this step resolves the vast majority of playback issues.
If any video playback issue persists, please contact Support for further troubleshooting.
I can see the video, but I can't hear anything (or very low audio)Please Note: If you are logging into a computer remotely using VPN, Citrix, or a cloud-based work environment, you may not hear the audio, so please log directly into your account page not using a remote environment.
If you are not connected using a remote environment, Please try the below suggestions to troubleshoot your audio issues.
First, please try refreshing your entire viewer page by going to the Help tab in the viewer and clicking on the "Reload Viewer" text link to refresh the page and reload the program.
Please Note: that if you are viewing the program using the Microst Edge or Firefox browser, the audio can be muted and unmuted from the video viewer tab.

THE YOUTUBE TEST
If there is very low or no audio coming through your program, please click on this link to open youtube.com in a new window and click on any video on the main page to confirm you are able to hear audio. This can confirm whether this lack of audio is an issue with your computer or within the program.

There is a speaker icon next to the computer clock in lower right corner of screen on Windows computers.
Right click your mouse on the audio Speaker Icon
Click on "Open Volume Mixer" option
VOLUME MIXER
NOTE: You can resize the Volume Mixer by pulling the edge of the window so you can see ALL applications using audio on your computer.
Confirm the Device (leftmost item) has volume slider pulled all the way to the top
Confirm all audio icons under all applications are not muted.
I DO NOT HEAR AUDIO ON YOUTUBE (OR VERY LOW AUDIO) VIDEO EITHER
If you are not able hear audio on a YouTube video the issue is system-wide with your computer/device.
External Speakers (Desktop or Laptop)
Confirm speakers are plugged in and powered on.
Confirm the volume is turned up on the speakers.
Confirm that the speakers are plugged into the correct port on the back of the computer.
Internal Speakers (Laptop)
There often is a "mute" key on the keyboard for muting audio on laptops. Try clicking this and/or the volume UP key.
VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS (CITRIX E.G.) / REMOTE DESKTOP
Watching through a remote desktop or virtual environment such as via Citrix can cause video playback issues or a lack of audio to be transmitted.
If the issue continues, please reach out to customer support for further assistance.
My video is stuck or has stopped playingIf your video has dropped audio or has stopped playing altogether, please try refreshing your entire viewer page by going to the Help tab in the viewer and clicking on the "Reload Viewer" text link to refresh the page and reload the program.
If you are unable to locate the Help tab on the video viewer page, please locate and click the Reload/Refresh icon on your web page. The reload/refresh icon is usually a clockwise turned arrow icon located near the web address on the web page.
If reloading the page, as shown above, does not resolve the issue, you may try closing your web browser entirely and reopening it and navigating back to the program, and relaunching the program.
Preparation For A Webcast
How Do I View The Webcast/Test My System?Click on your account name above, you will be redirected to your account.
If you are not logged in, click on the 'Sign In or Register' link above to sign in.
Under Pending Online Seminars, locate the name of the webcast you've registered for.
Click on the 'Launch Viewer' button underneath the webcast title. You may see a test video playing in the viewer. The webcast video will replace this test video within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time without any user action required.
You may also use this test video to test your system prior to the webcast to ensure you are able to view the event.
I Can't Find/Am Missing My Course MaterialsYour course materials are located under the 'Handouts' button under your course title in your account page.
Unfortunately some speakers do not release their slides for download, so they will not appear under the 'Handouts' button.
If you feel you are missing course materials in error, please contact support.
Can Webcasts Be Viewed On Mobile Devices?Yes, mobile viewing is fully accessible on all iOS and Android devices. Simply follow the same steps you would on a PC/Mac to view your webcast.
Can I Stop & Start On-Demand Courses At Any Time?Yes, for all on-demand classes you may pause the viewing and even re-open the viewer and the program will remember where you left off. This ability does NOT apply to live webcasts aired at a specific date and time.
How do I Enter or Exit Full Screen Video Playback in the Program Viewer?This article describes how to enter and exit full screen video while in the program viewer in your Internet Browser. If the program has slides, these will still be visible as a picture-in-picture (PIP) experience which can be moved and resized to your preference.

Try closing the viewer tab, returning to your online account and launching the viewer again.
Test audio from other flash videos from another site, e.g. www.youtube.com

My Video Is Stuck On Break/Has Stopped PlayingTry refreshing your viewer by pressing the 'F5' key on your keyboard (Windows) or by pressing the 'Command' and 'R' key on your keyboard (Mac).
Additionally the viewer can be closed and relaunched by clicking on "Launch Viewer" again from your customer account, or by following the link in your email.
Trouble Signing In?If you have registered for a course on this website, enter in the email address and password you provided when you signed up.

Is Payment By Check Accepted?You have the option to pay by check at the end of the checkout process, simply click the 'pay by check' box and complete the instructions on the following page.
