Mac Restructuring Advisors is headed up by Edward (Ted) Burr. Ted has over 30 years of corporate restructuring experience. He has served as a financial and restructuring expert to both debtors and creditors. He has testified in federal bankruptcy court on a variety of issues including feasibility matters, cram down interest rates, 1111(b) election issues, business valuation, and many more. Ted is a nationally recognized expert particularly on feasibility and cram down interest rate matters. Ted is also a Subchapter V Bankruptcy Trustee for Regions 14 and 17. Ted has also served as a state court appointed receiver on over 60 matters as well as being appointed as a Chapter 11 bankruptcy trustee. He has also served as interim CEO, CFO and as an Independent Board Member.
Anthony understands that reorganizing a distressed company requires real world business savvy as well as sound legal guidance. Prior to becoming an attorney, Anthony worked at a national consulting firm where he became enmeshed in a variety of businesses, advising on anything from navigating environmental regulations to potential damage exposure in litigation disputes or stock option backdating cases. As a result of his prior experience, he brings practical problem solving and a unique understanding of business to his legal practice. Practicing in the area of corporate restructuring and complex insolvency, Anthony has represented clients from a broad spectrum of industries, including charter airlines, real estate developers, homeowners associations, governmental agencies, commercial real estate owners and developers, retailers, and manufacturers. Anthony represents constituents on all sides of bankruptcy proceedings, including debtors, creditors, trustees, committees, and purchasers and sellers of distressed assets. When insolvency situations result in litigation, clients can depend on Anthony to be a tireless advocate. Anthony has significant experience defending and prosecuting companies and individuals in fraudulent transfer, preference and breach of fiduciary duty litigation. Anthony Cali earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, graduating cum laude in 2010. He served as the Managing Editor of the Arizona Law Review and received the Snell & Wilmer Award for Best Published Note during his time there. Prior to his legal studies, Cali obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics and Spanish from the University of Arizona, graduating magna cum laude in 2005.

Ms. Gilman was a Senior Counsel in the Phoenix Legal Department of Bank of America from 1992-1999, where she was responsible for legal services for the Bank of America Community Development Bank and Bank of America FSB - Community Development Division nationally, for dealer corporate services in the Southwest Region, and for legal services relating to real estate, problem loans, workout, and bankruptcy in the Southwest Region. During her tenure at Bank of America, she worked on local, regional, and national forms development for the bank, and created and coordinated various finance-related training programs and workshops for the Bank. Prior to joining Bank of America in 1992, she was in private practice, representing lenders and business clients, in a wide variety of finance, real estate, and commercial transactions. In addition to the practice of law, Ms. Gilman has been active in land investment and development, serving as the President of Desert Canyon Development since 1986. Ms. Gilman served on the Board of Directors of Bank of Scottsdale (In Organization), and has been an Administrative Judge Pro Tem for the State of Arizona Department of Real Estate. She is currently on the Executive Council of the State Bar of Arizona Real Property Section, having been a two-time past Chair of that section, and is also a past Vice Chair/Real Estate Subcommittee Chair of the CLE Committee of the Maricopa County Bar Association. Ms. Gilman also served on the faculty of the Arizona School of Real Estate from 1987-1992. She lectures extensively, having chaired and lectured at over 130 programs since 1990 on a wide variety of topics related to negotiations, real estate and commercial law, finance and banking law, and bankruptcy/creditor’s rights. Ms. Gilman is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of Citizenship Counts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to educating middle and high school students on American citizenship, and encouraging them to participate in community service, by providing a multi-disciplinary curriculum to schools and bringing community-based naturalization ceremonies to school settings. She is also a member of the Community Board of Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, which supports the law school’s annual Gold N’ Gavel event, and an Ambassador of the College of Law. Ms. Gilman has served on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations, including Actors Theatre of Phoenix, COMPAS (Combined Metropolitan Arts and Sciences), Toby House, Inc., a non-profit providing affordable housing and services to the mentally handicapped, and Volunteer Nonprofit Service Association (VNSA).
