Anthony Peter Cali
Anthony understands that reorganizing a distressed company requires real world business savvy as well as sound legal guidance. Prior to becoming an attorney, Anthony worked at a national consulting firm where he became enmeshed in a variety of businesses, advising on anything from navigating environmental regulations to potential damage exposure in litigation disputes or stock option backdating cases. As a result of his prior experience, he brings practical problem solving and a unique understanding of business to his legal practice. Practicing in the area of corporate restructuring and complex insolvency, Anthony has represented clients from a broad spectrum of industries, including charter airlines, real estate developers, homeowners associations, governmental agencies, commercial real estate owners and developers, retailers, and manufacturers. Anthony represents constituents on all sides of bankruptcy proceedings, including debtors, creditors, trustees, committees, and purchasers and sellers of distressed assets. When insolvency situations result in litigation, clients can depend on Anthony to be a tireless advocate. Anthony has significant experience defending and prosecuting companies and individuals in fraudulent transfer, preference and breach of fiduciary duty litigation. Anthony Cali earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, graduating cum laude in 2010. He served as the Managing Editor of the Arizona Law Review and received the Snell & Wilmer Award for Best Published Note during his time there. Prior to his legal studies, Cali obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics and Spanish from the University of Arizona, graduating magna cum laude in 2005.
