IV, Esq., CCAL is the founding member of Shaw & Lines, LLC where he advises community associations, timeshare associations, non-profit corporations, real estate developers, businesses and other clients on matters involving general real estate, bankruptcy, housing discrimination, employment, insurance defense and litigation matters. Augustus has served the community association industry nationally as a Member of the College of Community Association Lawyers Board of Governors and in Arizona by serving as a Board Member and Vice President of the Central Arizona Chapter of the Community Associations Institute. Augustus currently serves his community as Vice President of the Board of Directors of Tempe Preparatory Academy and as a Board Member of the Alisanos Community Association. Augustus, a fellow of the College of Community Lawyers, is a frequent local and national author and lecturer. He received his Bachelor of Arts (1996) and his Juris Doctor (2000) from the University of Arizona. He is licensed to practice law before the State Supreme Court of the State of Arizona, the State Supreme Court of the State of Nebraska, the Unites States District Courts of Arizona and Nebraska and the United States Tax Court. Augustus, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, is an avid golfer and when not practicing law or engaging in community service, can be found with his sons on the golf course.
