Juan Carlos Flamand Related Seminars and Products


Juan Carlos Flamand is a Partner at Fragomen’s Phoenix office. He has practiced immigration law exclusively since 2006 with a focus on representing large technology companies. He has extensive experience with nonimmigrant visas as well as all aspects of immigrant visa processing. He routinely counsels clients on compliance and advocacy matters. Juan Carlos’ previous legal experience includes having practiced as a criminal defense attorney in Virginia.

Juan Carlos is a graduate of the Arizona State Bar Leadership Institute and served as Chair of the State Bar Immigration Section and on the State Bar Appointments Committee.

Benjamin Nucci is an attorney with Snell & Wilmer. His practice is concentrated in labor and employment law, immigration and Native American affairs. He focuses primarily in the area of employment litigation, including representing employers against claims alleging discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination matters involving state and federal wage and hour laws, restrictive covenants, and various contract issues. In addition, Benjamin represents employers in all aspects of labor relations, including union avoidance, labor arbitration, collective bargaining agreement negotiation, and preparing for and defending against unfair labor practice charges. He routinely counsels employers regarding workplace policies and procedures. Benjamin is a frequent speaker, and manages Snell & Wilmer’s Labor and Employment blog. Benjamin is also a member of the firm’s immigration practice group, and assists clients in obtaining both immigrant and non-immigrant visas. He has experience advising large and small corporations on nonimmigrant petitions, family and employment based permanent resident processes, and adjustment of status. Benjamin counsels employers on a range of workplace issues, including Form I-9 compliance and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigations. Benjamin was born and raised in Australia and is an avid Aussie Rules and Socceroos fan.

Tara Williams is a Senior Associate at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP, where she represents clients in the science and technology sector in corporate immigration matters, assisting foreign workers through the US permanent residency process. Tara obtained her JD from Arizona State University in 2013 and has been practicing in business immigration law in the Phoenix area since then.

Kristie regularly helps companies navigate internal employment issues, and clients trust her to handle sensitive matters. A litigator by training, Kristie has experience with all stages of civil litigation and assists clients in litigating commercial and other disputes in addition to employment-related matters. She is particularly skilled at shepherding a case through the discovery process with an eye toward resolution before trial and has secured complete dismissals for multiple clients at the dispositive motion stage. In connection with her litigation practice, which spans a wide range of industries, Kristie frequently assists clients with investigating complaints of wrongdoing, from employee misconduct to compliance issues and whistleblower complaints. On multiple occasions, Kristie has been seconded to clients with intensive, short-term employment and/or litigation needs. As a result of these secondments, Kristie has a firsthand appreciation for the diverse responsibilities and priorities of in-house legal departments.
