was appointed to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Arizona effective as of January 18, 2013, and served as Chief Judge from 2014-2017. Judge Collins was the 2023 President of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges, is a Fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy, is on the 9th Circuit’s Trial Improvement Committee, is on the JCUS’s Bankruptcy Judges Advisory Group, was on the national Board of the American Bankruptcy Institute and is currently a Business Court Representative in the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section.
