William Garr

Bill Garr is an experienced and successful attorney.  He began practicing in the State of California.  Bill is a graduate of the University of Southern California, undergraduate, 1981 and the USC Law School in 1984, both with honors and distinction.  After clerking for the Supreme Court of California (the Hon. Allen E. Broussard), Bill was the first in his graduating law school class to become a partner anywhere.  He worked for the law firm Hahn & Hahn LLP in Los Angeles as both an associate and partner for 18 years.  Bill was then asked to start a commercial litigation department at the national labor and employment law firm of Jackson Lewis LLP.  Bill moved to Arizona in 2006 to become in-house counsel, and became General Counsel, where he now serves in that role for Ruffino Roofing Company.


Bill is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.  Bill has also been voted one of the best attorneys in California.  Bill is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and respective Federal District Courts.  Bill has handled a variety of complex litigation and transactional matters, including some gaining front-page media attention. He is both an author and lecturer on various legal topics.


Bill has served as president of several bar associations and is active in the community, including being on the boards of the United States Navy League and the Boy Scouts of America.  He lives in Scottsdale with his wife Mai and sons Brad and Matthew.
