Trooper Karl Jensen is an over fifteen-year veteran of the Arizona Department of Public Safety.  He was previously employed with the Pima County Sheriff's Department for nine years.  He is currently assigned to the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Bureau in Tucson.  Officer Jensen holds certifications as a Level 1 Commercial Vehicle Inspector, General Hazardous Materials Inspector, and Motorcoach Inspector.  Officer Jensen is a General Instructor, Field Training Instructor, Federal FMCSA Level one inspector instructor, and a RADAR instructor.  He has conducted numerous safety classes for transportation companies throughout the state of Arizona.  He was awarded Commercial Vehicle enforcement officer of the year by the Arizona Trucking Association in 2010.
