Travis John Owen

Travis J. Owen is a Board-Certified Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of Arizona and a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He is a Senior Associate at DM Cantor, Family Law Practice, one of three practice groups within DM Cantor, alongside criminal and estate planning, with 25 attorneys firmwide, including 5 Board-Certified Family Law Specialists and 3 Board-Certified Criminal Law Specialists.

Travis’s practice focuses on complex, high-asset divorce and custody litigation, including disputes over business valuation and asset tracing. He also advises clients in high-conflict custody cases that involve multi-jurisdictional and procedural challenges. His work combines strategic litigation skills with a thorough understanding of the financial and emotional dynamics that characterize high-conflict family law cases.

Travis also maintains an active appellate practice, having successfully argued multiple cases before the Arizona Court of Appeals that have contributed to the development of Arizona family law. Beyond his practice, Travis serves as Chair of the Maricopa County Bar Association Family Law Section, Board of Directors, and is a member of the State Bar of Arizona Family Law Policy, Practice, and Procedure Committee, where he contributes to statewide policy, legislation, and professional education initiatives.
