Teressa M. Sanzio, RN, JD, Law Office of Teressa M. Sanzio, P.C.
Teressa has been practicing in administrative and regulatory law for over twenty-five years. She primarily defends licensed health care providers, especially nurses. She is passionate about advocating for the rights of these professionals. Teressa is licensed to practice in Arizona, and is admitted to practice in all Arizona State Courts and in the United States Supreme Court. Before pursuing her legal career, Teressa worked as a registered nurse in ER and ICU settings. She also worked in risk management, quality resource management, and legal nurse consulting. She holds a Master of Public Administration, a BS in Business Administration and an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Teressa currently serves as the Treasurer of the Executive Council of the Administrative Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona. She previously served on the Council from 2003 to 2009, including a term as President. In addition, she currently serves on the Arizona State Bar Administrative Law Advisory Commission for the Board of Legal Specialization.

Teressa has extensive history with The American Association of Nurse Attorneys (TAANA) and currently serves on its Board of Directors. She previously served on the Board Executive Committee from 2008 to 2017, including a term as President. Her dedication to the organization has been recognized with several awards: the Cynthia Northrop Distinguished Service Award, the Outstanding Advocate Award, and the Outstanding Education Award.
