Tanya M. Gibson is the Deputy Director of the Corporations Division of the Arizona

Corporation Commission. She received her J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of

Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in 1995. Tanya began her legal career with a mid-sized

insurance defense firm in Chicago where she was a member of the commercial litigation and employment teams. Tanya also has experience as a consultant for non-litigation mergers and acquisitions, and financial restatements. Tanya began working with the Corporations Division in November of 2011. Prior to joining the Corporation Commission, Tanya was an Appeals Board Administrative Law Judge for the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Unemployment Insurance division.
