Susan Daicoff joined the team at Volunteer Lawyers Program at Southern Arizona Legal Aid, Inc. in June, 2020 after 23 years as a law professor.  Her last five years she was the Director of Legal Clinical Programs supervising multiple clinics in Phoenix. Most recently she served as a court administrator and judge pro tem with Maricopa County Justice Courts.  She has been a licensed attorney since 1984 and is an experienced educator, author, speaker, mediator, and administrator.  Her areas of expertise are law as a healing profession, therapeutic jurisprudence, professional ethics, and lawyer wellbeing and personality. More recently she has focused on access to justice and innovative, empowering approaches to delivering legal services. Her daughter works in educational information technology and her son graduates May, 2021 from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, with a focus on representing clients in veterans’ clinic and court.
