Mr. Tucker's practice encompasses a broad array of business transactions and business planning, including mergers and acquisitions and wealth preservation strategies. He has extensive experience structuring real estate transactions for optimal federal and state income tax results. Mr. Tucker formerly served as Chair of the American Bar Association Section of Taxation and is the author of "Tax Planning for Real Estate Transactions" (West). He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center where he teaches Federal Taxation of Real Estate Transactions. He serves on the advisory boards of "The Journal of Real Estate Taxation" and "Practical Tax Strategies", and is an active member of the American Law Institute, the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and the American College of Tax Counsel.
