Simon Peter Larscheidt


is a staff attorney for the Governor’s Regulatory Review Council at the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA). In that role, he is responsible for advising the Council in carrying out its responsibilities to review agency rulemakings, Five-Year Review Reports, as well as petitions submitted by stakeholders. Additionally, he provides guidance and assistance to many state agencies regarding compliance with their rulemaking and rule review obligations under statute. He has extensive public sector experience in the areas of administrative and regulatory law, as well as advising public bodies on a variety of legal matters, including open meetings laws, public records statutes, and conflict of interest laws. Before joining ADOA, Simon worked in private practice handling civil matters in the area of insurance defense litigation. Simon earned his Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2015."
