Mr. Garrison is a partner at Bacal & Garrison Law Group in Scottsdale and has practiced exclusively within the intellectual property field for 25 years. After receiving his J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law in 1992, he has focused his practice primarily in the areas of trademark, copyright and technology law, and he represents clients in all facets including IP portfolio management and development, general counseling, transactions and litigation. Over the course of his career, Mr. Garrison has represented numerous clients in negotiating and drafting a variety of IP licensing, software and technology agreements. His reputation among peers has earned him repeated inclusion in Best Lawyers in America® since 2007, and he is currently listed in 6 different Best Lawyers® categories, including Trademark Law, Copyright Law, Technology Law, and Intellectual Property Litigation. Mr. Garrison is also named in the World Trademark Review’s 2016 and 2017 editions of the WTR 1000 – The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals. Mr. Garrison formerly chaired the State Bar’s E-Commerce and Technology Law Section (2004-2005) and currently serves as chair of the Trademark Litigation Committee of the American Intellectual Property Lawyers Association.
