Robert Ian Brooks
Judge Brooks was appointed to the Superior Court in January, 2020. He currently serves on the family court rotation and was previously on the Juvenile Court rotation. Prior to his appointment, Judge Brooks was an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Arizona where he prosecuted violent crimes, and served as the human trafficking prosecution coordinator and gang task force coordinator. Judge Brooks has also worked for the Arizona Attorney General's Office, Osborn Maledon, and the International Justice Mission. He graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 2009. When not on the bench Judge Brooks almost certainly with his wonderful wife and four children. Together they enjoy sports, hiking, mountain biking, books, and a lot of food.
