Richard Kalinowski

RICHARD J. KALINOWSKI, JR. was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1949. He attended the University
of Colorado in Boulder and received a degree from the business school in 1971. His work
experience includes two years at a savings and loan in Denver and 22 years with the firm of Burke
Hansen & Homan, real estate appraisers and consultants in Phoenix, Arizona. In 1995, Mr. Kalinowski
started his own appraisal firm identified as Kalinowski & Associates, Inc. and received the MAl
designation in 1982. Mr. Kalinowski have served on various committees and as president of the Arizona
Chapter of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers as well as president of the Chapter of the
Society of Real Estate Appraisers in 1979. He currently serve on the Professional Practice Compliance
& Enforcement Committee and has served for many years on the Ethics Administration Division for
the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Kalinowski community activities over the past 40 years in Phoenix
include Board of Directors for the Arizona Zoological Society (Phoenix Zoo), Board of Trustees for
the Arizona Chapter of the Leukemia Society of America, Board of Directors and Past President for
the University Club of Phoenix, Past President of the Wildest Club in Town (Men's Auxiliary to the
Phoenix Zoo), Board of Directors for the Papago Salado Tourism Association, and Past President and
Board Member for the Phoenix Downtown YMCA. Mr. Kalinowski’s appraisal company specializes in
income-producing properties. Major property groups include apartments, retail, office, and industrial.
