Scott is originally from Ohio. After High School, Scott served in the US Army. He holds a Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science and worked in the mental health field until 1993 when he became a Veterans Services Commissioner. Scott began his career assisting veterans as a Veterans Service Officer (VSO) in 1994 and has worked as a VSO, VSO Supervisor and VSO Director in Ohio and Nevada. Scott is currently employed by the Arizona Department of Veterans Services providing training to their Veterans Benefits Counselors and managing the Quality Review Team.
