Peter Gentala

AZ House of Representatives

Peter A. Gentala is the Counsel to the Majority of the Arizona House of Representatives. He advises the Leadership of the House and the members of the Majority Caucus and represents the Speaker of the House in various litigation where the constitutionality of a state statute has been challenged. Mr. Gentala also serves as the Policy Advisor to the House Judiciary Committee. Before joining the House Majority Staff, Mr. Gentala was the General Counsel for the Center for Arizona Policy from 2004 through 2008, and was a Litigation Staff Attorney with the Alliance Defense Fund from 2002 to 2004. His legal work at both of these organizations focused on constitutional litigation. Mr. Gentala is a native of Tucson. He has a J.D. and Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Regent University.
