Paul Bender

Arizona State University-Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law

served as Dean of the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at ASU from 1984 – 1989. Prior to that, he was on the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. After graduating from Harvard Law School, he clerked for Second Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Learned Hand and then served as law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter. He was also a Principal Deputy Solicitor General of the United States.
