Melissa Iyer Julian

, Maricopa County Superior Court, is currently assigned to family court at the North East Regional courthouse where she has served since March 2019. Before her appointment, Judge Julian practiced in the areas of complex business litigation, complex civil litigation, and civil appeals with the law firm of Burch & Cracchiolo, P.A. for over twelve years. As a private practitioner, Melissa tried cases in Arizona federal courts and superior courts in Maricopa County. As a part of her appellate practice, Judge Julian also briefed cases before the United States Supreme Court and briefed and argued cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Arizona Supreme Court, and both divisions of the Arizona Court of Appeals.
