Melissa W Henry
Melissa currently serves as Legal Counsel and Dispute Resolution Specialist for the Arizona Ombudsman-Citizens’ Aide. Melissa has spent most of her career in and around state and federal government, including the U.S. Senate, the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, and the Arizona Department of Economic Security. Many years ago, Melissa led the government relations team for a national non-profit organization and, more recently, did a brief stint practicing family law.
Melissa earned an LLM in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law. She earned her JD from the George Washington University Law School and holds a BA in Biological Sciences from Cornell University. For fun, Melissa holds a degree in Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie and Baking and a Level 1 Sommelier certification. When not at work, Melissa is most often found in the company of her husband, their two children, and their crazy dog.
