Colonel Mark E. Sullivan, U.S. Army (ret.), a principal of Sullivan & Grace, P.A. in Raleigh, North Carolina, where his trial practice is limited to family law often involving member of the armed forces. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Town & Country Magazine, Lawyers Weekly USA and The Raleigh News & Observer, and has had articles published in the American Journal of Family Law, Family Law Quarterly, Family Advocate Fair$hare, and The Practical Lawyer. He is a frequent speaker at military and family law programs and is an annual lecturer at the Naval Justice School, Newport, Rhode Island on separation agreements, custody, divorce taxation and family law. He is a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), the Judge Advocates Association, and the Reserve Officers Association. He is chair of the Military Committee of the ABA Family Law Section. Col. Sullivan’s book, The Military Divorce Handbook, was published in May 2006 by the American Bar Association.
