MARK W. ARMSTRONG. After a nearly 20-year judicial career, Mark retired from the Maricopa County Superior Court bench on June 30, 2006, and began a new career as Staff Attorney for the Arizona Supreme Court and Adjunct Professor at Phoenix School of Law. At the Supreme Court, he is involved in judicial education, rule-making and making recommendations to the Justices on whether to accept review of discretionary cases. At Phoenix School of Law (now Arizona Summit Law School), he has taught Appellate Advocacy, Constitutional Law and Juvenile Law. Mark serves as Co-Chair of the Arizona Supreme Court’s Advisory Committee on Rules of Evidence, and as a member and Past Chair of the State Bar Family Practice and Procedure Committee. He also co-authors the Arizona Family Law Rules Handbook (Thomson Reuters/West 2015) and the 2010 Arizona Attorneys’ Fees Manual, 5th Edition, and 2014 Supplement (State Bar of Arizona 2010 and 2014).
