Lisa M. Panahi is General Counsel for the State Bar of Arizona, where she provides a broad range of legal advice and services to the business lines and governing board. Lisa is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and oversees the State Bar’s Legal Services Division comprised of the State Bar’s ethics-advisory service, the Conservatorship Program, Fee Arbitration Program, and the Client Protection Fund. Prior to her position as General Counsel, Lisa served as Senior Ethics Counsel at the Bar, where she advised lawyers on compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct, and regularly presented at continuing-legal-education seminars.

Lisa received both her undergraduate degree and law degree from Arizona State University. Prior to working for the State Bar, Lisa was in private practice and focused primarily in business and real estate transactions. Lisa is a member of the Arizona Supreme Court’s Attorney Regulation Advisory Committee and serves as staff advisor to the State Bar Board of Governors’ Rules Review Committee.
