Lisa A Gray

My name is Lisa A. Gray, and I am a Capital Attorney now practicing with the Yavapai Public Defender. I worked as a Capital Attorney in Maricopa County from approximately 2010 to September of 2024 as a private attorney with an OPDS contract, and with the Legal Defender’s Office and the Office of the Legal Advocate. Prior to my work as a death penalty attorney, I handled major felonies with the Office of the Legal Defender and the Maricopa County Public Defender as well as OPDS. I also have experience handling white collar, securities fraud cases, Federal cases in the areas of criminal and corporate defense and have practiced law in Indiana and Arizona. I am also licensed in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United State Supreme Court. I have been an attorney since 1992. I am also a poet.
