Kroy S. Ekblaw, Preserve Director / Strategic Projects for the City of Scottsdale, providing leadership for McDowell Sonoran Preserve acquisitions, planning/development of trails and trailheads, policy management, and strategic planning. His role in Strategic Projects includes problem solving, project management and  negotiation of agreements associated with professional baseball training facilities, Skysong/ASU Foundation, Scottsdale Waterfront, One Scottsdale, Special Event Planning and accommodations and relationships with Arizona State Land Department, City of Phoenix, etc.  Kroy has over thirty years of diverse experience in community development with the City of Scottsdale including General Manager of Planning and Development Services focusing on management and strategic oversight of community planning policy and development review services activity. He has a degree in Urban Planning with an emphasis in Landscape Architecture from Arizona State University.
