Ms. Dworkin’s practice is devoted primarily to Indian law and water resources law issues. Ms. Dworkin is listed by Super Lawyers and has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the fields of Water Law and Native American Law, and her leadership of the firm’s Indian Law practice has earned “Band 1” status in “Native American Law – Arizona” by London-based Chambers and Partners. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in geography from Clark University and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Arizona State University. She clerked for the Honorable William C. Canby, Jr. of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is admitted to the Arizona and Navajo Nation bars and is admitted to practice in the Courts of the Tohono O’odham Nation, Gila River Indian Community, Hopi Tribe, and Hualapai Tribe, and currently is presiding appellate justice for the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Appellate Court. Ms. Dworkin lectures regularly and publishes on topics relating to economic development on Indian Reservations. Ms. Dworkin has taught at the University of Toronto, the University of Arizona, and Arizona State University.
