Jesse Evans-Schroeder
supervises a team of "immigration litigation" attorneys at Green | Evans-Schroeder, PLLC, in Tucson, Arizona. Prior to her career in law, Jesse was an advocate for domestic violence and child abuse survivors, and homeless and mentally ill individuals. Introduced to immigration law through participation in the University of Arizona Immigration Law Clinic, and internships with the Florence Project, Southern Arizona Legal Aid's immigration unit, and the former Asylum Project of Southern Arizona, Jesse has, since 2010, practiced exclusively in the field. She has represented hundreds of noncitizens (and many U.S. citizens) in removal proceedings before detained and non-detained immigration courts, and before the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court. She values the relationships she builds with her clients and their families, through the course of representation, and the lessons in perseverance, strength, and determination that her clients teach her on a regular basis.
