JERRY STABLEY has been with Pinal County for nine years, and has been the planning director for over four years. His staff is responsible for current and long range planning, code compliance, addressing and minor land divisions. The department is also implementing the county’s new comprehensive plan, revising the zoning ordinance and playing a key role in the Pinal County Sustainability Program. Prior to working for Pinal County, he spent over 18 years with the City of Scottsdale. While in Scottsdale, he managed the project coordination group, downtown planning, Waterfront Project and Scottsdale visioning. He holds a master’s degree from Arizona State University, and a bachelor’s from Penn State. He has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) since 1989.
