JEFFREY B. FUGAL is a Partner with Quarles who practices corporate and tax law and advises clients on a wide range of business and federal income tax matters. With a master’s degree in taxation and extensive experience in complex transactions, Jeff counsels clients on entity formation, tax-efficient structuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and equity compensation planning. His practice also includes advising on qualified small business stock (Section 1202) and other advanced federal tax issues. A certified specialist in Taxation Law by the State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization, Jeff has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America® since 2007 and named “Lawyer of the Year” multiple times for Business Organizations. He also holds an AV® Preeminent™ rating from Martindale-Hubbell®. Jeff is also former chair of the State Bar of Arizona’s Tax Section and an active member of the American Bar Association.
