James B. Stabler, is Vice President and Chief Counsel of SCF Arizona Legal Division. Mr. Stabler received his BS degree from Arizona State University and his JD from the University of Arizona. Mr. Stabler’s experience includes serving as judicial clerk for Arizona Supreme Court Justice Jack D.H. Hays, Administrative Law Judge for the Industrial Commission of Arizona, Judge Pro Tern for the Arizona Court of Appeals and litigation attorney in the fields of personal injury insurance defense and workers’ compensation defense. Mr. Stabler is an “AV” rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell©, was a certified specialist in workers’ compensation 1994-1999 and served on the Board of Legal Specialization Workers’ Compensation Advisory Commission from 1989-2005. Mr. Stabler is also a registered lobbyist for SCF and is a member of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce Legal and Finance Committee and Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Public Affairs Committee. Mr. Stabler is an avid cyclist, guitarist and clueless father of two beautiful teenage girls.
