James Daube is a staff attorney with the Consumer, Housing and Public Benefits unit at Southern Arizona Legal Aid, Inc.  A California native, James obtained a B.A. in Political Science from San Diego State University in 2005, and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2008. Originally, James served as in-house counsel for an electronics manufacturer before opening his own law practice in 2014 and later joining SALA in 2016.  James’s primary areas of practice are landlord-tenant law and public housing benefits.  He is licensed to practice in both California (inactive) and Arizona.
