Hon. Danielle Viola

THE HON. DANIELLE VIOLA was appointed to the Maricopa County Superior Court in 2011. She currently enjoys a Family Court assignment and is co-chair of the Family Court Initiatives Committee which is dedicated to improving communication between judicial officers, lawyers, behavioral health providers, staff, and court administration. Prior to joining the bench, she was a partner at Snell & Wilmer where she concentrated her practice in the area of commercial litigation with an emphasis in franchise and real estate litigation. She served on Snell & Wilmer’s Ethics Committee and co-chaired the firm-wide Hiring Committee. She is the past president of the Phoenix Public Library Foundation and Sandra Day O’Connor Inn of Court. She continues to serve as a board member for Arizona Town Hall and the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law Alumni Association. She attended Arizona State University where she graduated magna cum laude in 1994 with a B.A. degree in political science and cum laude in 1999 with a J.D. degree.
