Francis H. Fox


Francis H. Fox is a partner in the Boston office of Bingham McCutchen, LLP, where his practice concentrates on civil litigation in trials and appellate work, including product liability and constitutional litigation, business and banking, engineering and construction litigation. He has established an expertise in First Amendment and libel cases, having won two First Amendment cases in the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Fox was appointed by chief Justice William H. Rehnquist as a member of the Advisory Committee on Civil Rules, Judicial Conference of the United States. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the former chair of its Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Committee. A former president of the Boston Inn of Court, Mr. Fox has lectured nationally on litigation topics. He received his B.S. from College of the Holy Cross and his LL.B. from Harvard University Law School.
