BURTON BENTLEY II, M.D., FAAEM, is an Emergency Medicine physician and the CEO of ELITE MEDICAL EXPERTS, a national consulting firm that secures top-tier Professors of Medicine and Surgery as experts for the legal profession, insurance industry, governmental agencies, and pharmaceutical firms. Dr. Bentley graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Arizona and then earned his Doctor of Medicine from U of A before completing a 4-year residency in Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Bentley is a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine specialist and Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. In a career spanning 24 years, he has provided emergency and trauma care to over 80,000 patients in Arizona and Wisconsin. Dr. Bentley is also the inventor of a patented, commercially available medical device that was recently acquired by Centurion Medical Products. He also lectures on Medical Ethics and Medical Decision-Making, and is a consultant on FX Network's television show, The Americans.
