CHAPTER 13 TRUSTEE
Dianne Crandell Kerns is the Standing Chapter Thirteen Trustee for Southern Arizona. She has served in that capacity since 1996. She started her legal career in 1987 at the Phoenix offices of Streich Lang (now Quarles and Brady). There she represented commercial and consumer debtors, creditors, committees and trustees. In 1989 she transferred to the Tucson office. She clerked for Bankruptcy Judge James M. Marlar and Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice Stanley J. Feldman. She also served for six years on the Pima County Superior Court Judicial Selection Commission. Ms. Kerns has authored many publications in journal such as the American Bankruptcy Institute Journal, the NACTT Quarterly, and Consumer Bankruptcy News. She has lectured nationwide on the bankruptcy law, in particular the changes that were made in 2005. She is currently a member of the NACTT Legislative Committee.
