David E McDowell

Honorable David McDowell was appointed to the Maricopa County Superior Court in 2021. Prior to his appointment to the bench, David spent 26 years in private practice. Most of his career was spent practicing business and commercial litigation, but he also spent a significant period of time defending professionals in liability claims, litigating insurance coverage issues, and representing national and international retailers in a wide variety of matters including product liability, transportation, and employment claims. During his career David managed two law firms. David attended Washington State University, University of Oregon School of Law and University of Idaho School of Law.
