DANIEL C. BARR is a partner with Brown and Bain in the firm’s litigation department. He has been associated with Brown and Bain since 1985 and a partner since 1992. Mr. Barr’s practice focuses on a wide range of matters including media law, constitutional, contract, tort, employment, and insurance issues. Before joining Brown & Bain, Mr. Barr worked as a reporter for The Arizona Republic. He received his law degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1985 where he served as an editor of the Case Western Reserve Law Review. He graduated with honors from Hamilton College in 1978. Mr. Barr is a member of the Arizona, Maricopa County, and American Bar Associations. He is a past president of the Sandra Day O’Connor Inn of Court, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, and a member of the Committee on the Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Arizona. He is chair of the Jury Instructions Committee of the Libel Defense Resource Center. Mr. Barr also is the author of numerous publications and articles.
