Beth Beckmann

Beth C. Beckmann is the Chief Staff Attorney at Division Two of the Court of Appeals. She graduated from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in 1982, and practiced general civil litigation with the law firm of Thayer & Thayer, P.C. in Phoenix until she joined the Court of Appeals as a staff attorney in February 1989. She has served as a judge pro tempore for the Pima County Juvenile Court, has taught seminars on criminal and juvenile law, appeals, special actions, and legal writing, and co-authored the special action section of the Arizona Appellate Handbook. Ms. Beckmann served as staff on the Rule 32 Task Force, and served on the Civil Practice and Procedure Committee, the Appellate Case Processing Implementation Task Force, the Juvenile Subcommittee of the Court Improvement Program, the Arizona Supreme Court's Committee on Juvenile Appeals: Delay Reduction/Best Practices, and most recently, the Juvenile Rules Task Force.
