Becky Bartness, a shareholder of Wilenchik & Bartness, PC, has practiced law in Phoenix for thirty-six years. Ms. Bartness concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate, commercial, banking and environmental law, and commercial mediation and arbitration. Ms. Bartness was General Counsel for Chase Bank of Arizona prior to joining the firm of Wilenchik & Bartness, P.C. in January of 1992.
Ms. Bartness obtained her B.A. degree from Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, graduating magna cum laude, in 1974. She attended graduate school at Michigan State University prior to graduating from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, cum laude in 1979. Ms. Bartness and her firm have been featured in Legal Leaders as Top-Rated Attorneys and are listed in the Worldwide Who’s Who.
Ms. Bartness has served as a Judge pro tem for the Maricopa County Superior Court and an arbitrator on the American Arbitration Association panel, and is currently listed in the AAA rostrum of mediators. She has mediated or arbitrated over 800 matters during her thirty-five years of practice.
Ms. Bartness is currently President Elect of the Board of the Arizona Association for Conflict Resolution, is an advisory board member for the Commercial Section of the Association for Conflict Resolution, and is editor of the Commercial Section’s newsletter. Ms. Bartness is also a member of the State Bar and American Bar Associations’ Sections on Dispute Resolution and the International Association of Collaborative Professionals.
