Mr. Nava founded The Nava Law Firm, PLLC in 2016 and practices in the areas of criminal defense, DUI defense, and Federal litigation, where he is a fearless, aggressive and effective advocate. Mr. Nava grew up in El Paso, TX, where his father’s job as a police officer led to a passion for the criminal justice system. He knew at a very young age he wanted to help those who needed it most. Mr. Nava received his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University. He then moved to Arizona in 2007 to attend the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University where he graduated cum laude. He was admitted to the Arizona State Bar and the United States District Court of Arizona in 2010.
Currently, Mr. Nava sits on the executive board for Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice. In that role, he is dedicated to protecting the rights of the accused in the courts and in the legislature, promoting excellence in the practice of criminal law through education, training and mutual assistance, and fostering public awareness of citizens’ rights, the criminal justice system, and the role of the defense lawyer. lawyert.
