ANTHONY C. THEILER is a Medical Doctor with board certification in orthopedic surgery and a fellowship training in sports medicine. He was born and raised in Wisconsin and earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin, where he graduated with honors. He attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin and graduated within the top 20% of his class in 1990. During his residency through the Akron General Medical Center/Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron, he provided medical coverage to high school football players and the Association of Volleyball Professionals. After completing his residency, he travelled to Texas to obtain a fellowship training in sports medicine from the Baylor College of Medicine Sports Medicine Institute. During that time, he worked with the Houston Oilers, Rockets, and Astros. Dr. Theiler moved to Arizona in 1996 to join a practice in general orthopedic surgery in Prescott. He moved to the Phoenix area in 1997, and continues to practice in the area of general orthopedic surgery. His patient base is primarily industrial in nature, and he has extensive training and experience in doing Independent Medical Examinations.
