Annette Burns is an attorney in Arizona since 1984, a certified Family Law Specialist, practicing in the areas of ADR, including mediation and parenting coordination. She is a former President of the international association AFCC, and during her tenure, AFCC’s Guidelines for Parenting Coordination were rewritten. She writes and presents frequently on family law rules, cases, parenting coordination, and coparenting communication. She has been named to Arizona’s Top 25 Women Superlawyers and Top 50 Superlawyers numerous times, and is a co-author of the Arizona Family Law Rules Handbook (updated annually), and the books Co-Parenting by Design (2024) and BIFF for CoParent Communication (2020).
