Alissa focuses her practice on bankruptcy and restructuring, creditors’ rights litigation and enforcement, and commercial litigation. Alissa advises banks, lending institutions, and other creditors as well as debtors and corporate clients in chapter 11 bankruptcies and restructuring, loan workouts, receiverships, and other enforcement, foreclosure and deficiency actions. In addition to her restructuring practice, Alissa also represents clients in commercial litigation matters in both state and federal court. Alissa is a member and past President of the Arizona Bankruptcy American Inn of Court. Alissa participated in the NCBJ Next Generation Class of 2017 and was selected as a Super Lawyers Southwest Rising Star from 2014-2020. She is also on the Board of Directors of UMOM New Day Centers, a non-profit organization focused on restoring hope, rebuilding lives and ending homelessness. Alissa is a graduate of Boston College Law School and the University of Southern California (magna cum laude) and clerked for the Honorable John S. Dalis of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Georgia. Alissa is licensed in Arizona, California, and New York.
