Alice M Jones


is Chief Counsel of the Criminal Appeals Section of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. Alice’s primary practice is in criminal appeals but she also previously worked on civil appeals in a variety of practice areas at Broening, Oberg, Woods & Wilson, P.C. She has briefed over 100 appeals and has conducted arguments before the Arizona Court of Appeals and Arizona Supreme Court. She also has reviewed hundreds of appellate briefs and helps prepare attorneys within her office for oral argument. Alice earned her undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary and her Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Robert Brutinel on the Arizona Supreme Court. In her spare time, Alice enjoys traveling with her husband and two daughters, and spending time with the family’s rescued animals, currently two dogs and a mischievous cat.
