Aimee Osberghaus
Aimee Osberghaus is a member of the Department of State’s Legal Assistance Program team in the Office of Children’s Issues. In her capacity as Legal Assistance Coordinator, she works to connect Hague Convention applicants with legal representation in the United States. Her work also includes maintaining the Hague Convention Attorney Network, developing US legal assistance policy for incoming Hague Convention cases, and briefing Foreign Central Authorities on the program.
Aimee received a dual MA in International Affairs at American University and an MA in International Security at Korea University in Seoul. Prior to her role in the Office of Children’s Issues, she worked at the Department of State in the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs and has served as the Director of a summer exchange program for international students. She has been in her current role since 2016.
