As FBI Chief Christopher Wray recently reported to Congress, cyber-attacks are on the rise, and Checkpoint Research reports that 1 out of every 40 attacks is against law firms and law departments.  Unfortunately, lawyers are prime targets for hackers due to the nature of privileged client information we receive.  In this updated 2025 version of this very popular program, you'll learn about 7 recent law firm and court hacking attacks, who is hacking lawyers, which lawyers make the most likely targets, and how to protect against hacks.

"Really really good. I mean if it was intended on scaring the shit out of me, it sure did. I made some immediate changes right after i finished the video!!!"

Jamie S

"For this particular program, I think it would have been more beneficial to spend more time focused on the steps and suggestions for attorneys and firms rather than so much time discussing past cases. Alternatively, make the program longer to allow for time to discuss both."

Kurt J

"Clicking the button on the State Bar CLE page after logging in failed to open the Seminar for me (broken link). I wasted a few minutes having to find the actual saved calendar event, click on it, sign into Zoom, then it opened the Seminar. The State Bar needs a direct link that works. Also, speaker spoke a little about ethical responsibilities to prevent hacking under the Ethical Rules, and requirements for reporting breaches, but no ethical credit was given."
