Description

Rick and Renee will provide a summary of and explain recently issued decisions relating to arbitration.  This year’s batch of cases involve interpretation of the Federal Arbitration Act, including jurisdiction and venue for arbitrations subject to the FAA.  Courts continued to discuss the separability doctrine, who decides the issue of arbitrability and unconscionability.  Click bait provisions, mass arbitrations and arbitrations between attorneys and clients over fees also made an appearance and will be addressed
